About the role

In order to deliver important works for the Townsville community, we are now seeking an experienced Project Administrator to join our talented team.

Based at our site office approximately half an hour from Townsville, your hours will be 7 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday and you will be responsible for your project’s administration, reporting, timesheets, purchase orders, reconciling invoices, travel bookings, and end-of-month functions.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Collecting, scanning, filing, and distributing paperwork;
  • Data Entry;
  • Invoice and docket matching;
  • Generating purchase orders;
  • Handling correspondence;
  • Maintaining registers;
  • Timesheet entry;
  • Travel and accommodation bookings;
  • General Administration duties;
  • Responding to phone and email queries;
  • Assisting the project team as required.

 

About you

If this describes you, let’s talk. 

  • Currently living in the Townsville area;
  • Recent experience of office-based and/or on-site project delivery;
  • Experience with the processing and collating of timesheets;
  • A minimum of 12 months experience preparing and reconciling purchase orders, invoicing, and end-of-month reporting;
  • Ideally, hold a relevant Business Administration qualification (Cert 3/Cert 4/Diploma);
  • Be a team player with excellent time management skills and a can-do attitude;
  • Has the ability to facilitate strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders;
  • Enjoys and thrives working in a busy team environment;
  • Good working knowledge of the Advanced Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, Word, Outlook) and Microsoft Teams;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • A current open driver’s licence.
