YOUR OPPORTUNITY

Join our dynamic team in Melbourne, VIC as a UX/UI Designer in this exciting hybrid role, where you'll spend 2 days in the office and 3 days working from the comfort of your home.

Unleash your creativity in crafting the digital face of our products! Dive into user-centered design, developing sleek wireframes, engaging interactive prototypes, and visually stunning high-fidelity designs. With your balanced expertise in both UI and UX, you’ll collaborate with fellow designers, product managers, agile developers, and key stakeholders to shape an exceptional user experience.

Your primary duties entail, but are not restricted to:

  • Creating high-fidelity designs that enhance our product’s user interface
  • Facilitating the seamless transition of UI designs to developers by providing detailed specifications and required resources for implementation
  • Producing and testing conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mock-ups and interactive prototypes across the different stages of discovery and validation to iterate and refine the design solutions
  • Documenting and communicating product design specifications (e.g., workflows, journeys, etc) to ensure design quality and alignment with product requirements
  • Participating in agile ceremonies including refinement, planning, reviews and retros
  • Validating concepts with both internal and external stakeholders

To thrive in this role, you should bring:

  • A minimum of 3 years of working or postgraduate experience
  • A robust portfolio showcasing your professional design projects
  • Proficiency in utilising the latest design and prototyping tools, such as Figma
  • Familiarity or expertise in human-centered and design thinking methodologies
  • Proven track record in designing products and applications across all stages of the product development lifecycle
  • Extensive expertise in various UI/UX skills and techniques including wireframing, prototyping, and testing
  • Strong grasp of information architecture, user journeys, wireframing, specifications, and design guidelines
  • Experience in engaging with customers to gather feedback and validate designs effectively
