In this role you will be joining the Commercial team, reporting to the Business Development Team Lead, and be playing a key role in driving business growth. At the forefront of new business development, you will engage with prospective customers, craft tailored solutions, and clearly articulate our value proposition. As part of the business’s growth engine, you will build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities, using your expertise to create and deliver compelling commercial offerings that convert leads into lasting partnerships. 

Tasks of the role: 

  • Identify opportunities for business growth to convert leads within the defined market
  • Warm lead follow leading to generating new business
  • Develop a strong pipeline across industry and verticals to ensure the achievement of targets
  • Virtually approach and build relationships with potential customers
  • Maintain and update CRM on new business activities to support with reporting
  • Implement activities based on Cm3 strategy and monitor progress
  • Conduct meetings and product demonstrations with clients as required
  • Support at a local level relevant planned marketing and technical campaigns 

Some of the skills required: 

  • 3+ years’ experience in a BDM or Sales role within a SaaS environment
  • High level written and verbal communication
  • Proactive and ambitious mindset to build upon existing presence
  • Experience with CRM tools (eg Pipedrive, SalesForce)
  • Ability to foster meaningful relationships with customers at all levels
  • A forward-thinking mindset to develop solution-oriented outcomes for customers

Skills Nice to have but not essential:

  • Understanding of WHS/Risk Management principles, and familiar with Contractor Management processes 
  • Experience with responding to tenders advantageous 

This is a permanent, full-time hybrid opportunity with the Cm3 office located in Southbank
