Position: Disability Support Worker

Location: Northern NSW

Employment Type: Casual


The Opportunity:

Come and join our team! We are seeking a Community Disability Support Worker located in Clarence Valley

Each day may look a little different but your work will be centered around the following:

  • Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
  • Providing support with hygiene and personal care
  • Complex care support - Catheter management
  • Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
  • Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
  • Meal assistance which may include meal preparation

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Drivers License, reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance
  • NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
  • Kind, caring, good energy, community minded.
  • Quick learner ability to absorb information.
