The Opportunity: 

Reporting to the General Manager Finance, the Financial Accountant is responsible for providing proactive and effective financial support and advice to operational teams that reflects a sound understanding of operational and financial imperatives.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  •  Evaluate financial performance against key metrics and operational activities
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning with high-quality financial analysis
  • Ensure accurate recording and reporting of transactions, assets, and liabilities in line with accounting standards
  • Develop strong relationships with operational teams, acting as a trusted financial partner
  • Drive process improvements within Finance for greater efficiency and control
  • Manage month-end reporting processes and variance analysi
  • Support strategic projects, including performance improvement initiatives and acquisition due diligence

To be successful in this role you will: 

  • Business/Commerce Degree in Accounting or Finance 
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, management reporting, and process improvement
  • Strong knowledge of Australian or International Financial Reporting Standards (AIFRS/IFRS)
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with multi-site organisations
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail

  • Current National Police Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Evidence of current work rights in Australia
