Are you a strategic HR professional looking to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic organisation? Claro Disability Services is seeking an experienced People & Culture Manager to lead and support our team, working closely with leadership to shape our culture and drive operational excellence.

Who we are:

Our name may be new, but we’re not. Collectively, we’ve been around for more than 30 years, with an established presence right across Australia as advocates of supported independent living, and a leading NDIS registered provider.

We’ve combined the best of what we had to become Claro – the leading disability services provider in Australia.

We put people at the centre of everything we do. Through individualised, local, community-based support we remove barriers, increase life choices, and empower people to have meaningful relationships and connections.

The Opportunity:

As a key member of our People Services team, you will provide trusted business partnering and operational support across the organisation. Reporting to the General Manager, People Services, you will lead a small but effective team of HR advisors, ensuring effective employee relations, policy implementation, and talent development initiatives.

Please note: This role can be based out of our Melbourne or Adelaide Office

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Lead people and culture policies and strategies at the enterprise level across the organisation
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders and frontline staff
  • Provide expert advice on employee relations, performance management, and HR policies
  • Lead workforce planning, talent development, and HR projects
  • Investigate employee concerns and develop effective solutions
  • Support all stages of the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding
  • Deliver timely HR reporting and insights to inform decision-making
  • Promote a positive, inclusive workplace aligned with Claro’s values

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Proven HR experience in a business partnering role within a matrix environment
  • Deep knowledge of Australian employment law and industrial relations
  • Strong operational background across full employee lifecycle activities
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Self-motivated, decisive, and adept at managing multiple priorities
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR, Industrial Relations, or related fields (preferred)

Additional Requirements:

  • Current National Police Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Evidence of current work rights in Australia

What’s in it for you:

  • Opportunity to work for a rapidly growing disability and aged care provider
  • Friendly team environment with a great community care spirit
  • Employee Assistance Program for staff and their families
  • Flexible work initiatives for real work-life-balance including a fortnightly rostered day off
  • Employee of the month
  • Shine Awards
  • WhereFit - Fitness perks and discounts
  • Retail discounts
  • Novated vehicle leasing
