- You’ll work with people who have big, real world needs, from mobility and medical care to daily routines, communication, and fun activities.

- You’ll team up with families, medical professionals, and other support workers to keep everything running smoothly.

What you’ll do
- Person-centered planning: Chat with the client (and family/advocates), get the know them and understanding of goals and routines.
- Complex physical care: Help with mobility, transfers, positioning, daily tasks, and devices (wheelchairs, aids, etc.) as outlined in the plan
- Medical supports: Watch for changes, follow med/clinical plans, and liaise with the care team if things shift.
- Social time and participation: Bring meaning, fun, and community access aligned with interests.
- Autonomy and advocacy: Support decision-making, respect consent, boost independence where possible.
- Cultural humility: Respect backgrounds, beliefs, and ways of being
What are the hours?
- Monday 5pm-8pm
- Tuesday 4pm-8pm
- Wednesday 5pm-7pm
- Friday 5pm-8pm
Who we’re looking for
- A person-centered, warm, patient, and genuinely caring soul.
- Experience with behaviours of concern (someone who doesn't get easily rattled)
- Interest or experience in complex care, disability, and health nuances.
- Great communicator: listens well, reads cues, and adapts to different styles.
- Reliable and professional, with good notetaking and teamwork.
- Flexible and adaptable; comfortable with changing needs and shifts.
- Values fit: Bring Energy, Nurture and Care, Act with Integrity, Listen and Connect in action.
- Optional but nice: Manual handling, epilepsy management, or disability-support training.
