About the Role
Our client located in Cooma requires a support worker with experience in personal care, and assistance with daily living:
- Complex Personal Care assistance including bowel care and supporting with daily hygiene
- Manual handling including using hoist transfers
- Providing support in everyday activities around the home including meal assistance & domestic duties
- Catheter Care
Shifts Available:
- Week 1 Wednesday 4pm-7pm
- Week 2 Wednesday 8am-7pm & Thursday 8am-7pm
About You
As an experienced Support Worker, you will bring with you a wonderful attitude and approach that is client centric. With the client’s needs front and centre you will have/be:
- Knowledgeable & passionate about supporting individuals with complex personal care
- Manual Handing skills including experience in hoist transfers
- Skills in bowel care preferred, with the ability to work autonomously
- NDIS Clearance, National Police Check & Current First Aid & CPR
- Minimum Cert III qualification (i.e. Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability) is essential
