The General Manager – Practice, Quality & Clinical Governance leads this work, uniting people, systems, and shared expectations so the rights, voice, and lived experience of people with disability shape how Claro delivers supports every day in practice, not just policy.

As the General Manager, you will have executive accountability for setting direction, embedding consistency, and ensuring quality governance that enables better experiences. You will lead and further develop a capable, engaged team, including:

  • Clinical Management: a team of qualified nurses providing clinical leadership, specialist advice, and support to operational teams.
  • Quality & Safeguards: responsible for quality assurance, continuous improvement, feedback systems, and a safeguarding culture grounded in dignity, voice, and rights.
  • Implementing Behaviour Support: oversight of Positive Behaviour Support, restrictive practice reduction, and capability uplift.
  • Policy & Procedural Framework Governance: ensuring clarity, cohesion, and accessible practice expectations across the organisation

Key Accountability:

  •  Translate policy into practice across a national, dispersed workforce.
  • Drive continuous improvement, safeguarding, PBIS implementation, and restrictive-practice reduction.
  • Ensure governance aligns with AHPRA, NDIS standards, and organizational frameworks.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, families, workers, clinicians, and executives.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Leadership in practice governance, quality assurance, safeguarding, and behavioural support within disability or related sectors.
  • Proven ability to scale governance and practice standards across multiple teams.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Qualifications in health, human services, or allied health; registration or eligibility with a regulatory body preferred.
  • Familiarity with AHPRA/NDIS standards advantageous
