The Opportunity:
Reporting to the National Manager, People and Culture, the Workforce Optimisation Business Partner provides specialist People & Culture support to enable effective roster review and workforce optimisation processes across the organisation.
The role partners with Operational leaders, Workforce Management and People & Culture teams to ensure roster reviews are informed by service delivery and participant needs, workforce availability, workforce compliance (including Fair Work and Award compliance), employee wellbeing, financial sustainability and organisational risk considerations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert support to enable roster reviews led by P&C Business Partners and Service Leaders across Claro including assisting in responding to roster related escalations, concerns or industrial risks
- Support interpretation and consistent application of the SCHADS Award, Fair Work obligations and organisational policies
- Partner with WFM and Operations to review and analyse roster data to identify workforce risks (including compliance), inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
- Prepare workforce insights, summaries and recommendations to support HR advice and leadership decision making
- Conduct/support P&C led audits, compliance reviews and remediation activities related to rostering and workforce management
- Support change initiatives that improve workforce sustainability and service quality

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or related field (preferred)
- Solid understanding of Awards / Enterprise Agreements and shift compliance
- Advanced Excel capability (analysis, reporting, modelling)
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
- Knowledge of HR policies, employment legislation, and compliance
- High organisational skills with attention to detail
Additional Requirements:
- Current National Police Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willing to obtain)
- Evidence of current work rights in Australia
