Technology Project Manager

We are seeking a strategic, experienced and people-centred Technology Project Manager to help drive the successful delivery of our technology programme – shaping projects that make a genuine difference across our business and for our customers.

About the Role

This is a key leadership role within our Technology Services team, responsible for delivering end-to-end technology projects that align with CIAL’s strategic goals. In addition to project delivery, you will guide portfolio planning, manage project delivery frameworks, and mentor a Junior Project Manager – all while embedding a strong focus on outcomes, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of technology projects with a pragmatic, customer-focused approach and aligned with business priorities.
• Own and improve the technology project portfolio process, ensuring strong governance and prioritisation.
• Manage budgets, risks and external vendor relationships effectively.
• Champion project delivery standards, tools and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and develop team members involved in project delivery.

About You

You will be a relationship builder and problem-solver with a passion for making technology work for people. You will bring:

• Proven experience in end-to-end project delivery, in technology or IT.
• Strong people leadership, mentoring and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strategic mindset with an eye for both the big picture and the details.
• Confidence managing budgets and vendor relationships.
• Have an existing broad IT technical understanding from core infrastructure to ERP systems.
• Knowledge of ITIL principles and relevant industry certifications (preferred).
• A commitment to upholding values such as integrity, teamwork and sustainability.
