As a Senior Systems Engineer at Christchurch Airport, your role is to ensure the stability, security, and efficient operation of the information systems that support core organisational functions.
The Senior Systems Engineer guides the Technology engineering team by applying proven communication, analytic, and problem-solving skills to help identify, improve, and resolve issues to
You will also thrive on the opportunity to provide technical leadership, mentoring team members both within the Technology team, and right across the business.
You will be successful in this role because you have:
- A tertiary qualification in Computer Science or other relevant field of study, or an equivalent body of knowledge
- At least 5 years in a Systems Engineer role, preferably with some years as a Senior.
- Proven experience with design, planning, security, implementation and ongoing management and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems and applications, especially Microsoft Azure and Office 365, CCTV and access control applications.
- Relevant vendor and industry certifications, including ITIL foundation.
You are highly self-motivated and are a proven self-starter with keen attention to detail.
