We are building a new Valet Operations team and we have a variety of full and part time roles available. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced airport environment, providing exceptional service to customers at the start of their journey.
Operational shifts will commence from 28 August, and applicants must be available to commence full or part time training from Monday 10 August.
About the Role
As a Customer Service Coordinator in our new Valet Operations team, you’ll be one of the first friendly faces our customers meet at Christchurch Airport. You’ll play a key role in delivering a seamless, premium valet experience, welcoming customers, managing vehicle handovers with care and professionalism, and ensuring every interaction is efficient, safe and positive.
This is a hands-on operational role where you’ll also be responsible for the safe relocation and parking of our customers own vehicles within the airport precinct. Care, attention to detail and confidence driving a range of vehicles is necessary as is a strong focus on safety as you move vehicles between customer drop off points and designated parking areas.
While you’ll be part of a wider team, this role also requires confidence and independence. At times may be working on your own while your colleagues are tending to customers and therefore you will need to be confident maintaining high service standards without direct supervision. If you enjoy taking ownership, working autonomously, and delivering exceptional service every time, this could be the role for you.

O5- Sunday to Monday 0500-1330 (16 hours per week)
O6- Friday and Saturday 0530-1400 (16 hours per week)
O7 - Sunday 0530-1400 (8 hours per week)
C3- Monday to Wednesday 1400-2230 (24 hours per week)
C4- Thursday to Saturday 1400-2230 (24 hours per week)
C5- Sunday to Monday 1430-2300 (16 hours per week)
C6 - Friday to Saturday 1400-2230 (16 hours per week)
C7 - Sunday 1400-2230 (8 hours per week)
On days when customers are arriving on international flights between 11:30pm and 1:00am, those working on shifts with late finishes across could be required to stay on until the customer collects their vehicle. Flexibility is essential, as finish times can vary with flight schedules and there be opportunities to pick up additional shifts to support the team when needed.
