About the centre

Mernda YMCA Early Learning Centre is a 104 place centre with an integrated 3 and 4 year old kindergarten. We support, nurture and encourage children's development through early education and evidence-informed practice that emphasises discovery and adventure.

Our culturally diverse service offers a welcoming and supportive team, induction process, onsite parking and a large open kitchen and staff room facilities.

We work closely with the local community to ensure that we are providing the highest possible care to all children within our service, this includes not only our long day care facility but also our onsite 66 place Sessional Kindergarten which we operate on behalf of Whittlesea Council. We are lucky to have been built on the same footprint as Mernda Park Primary School and Mernda South Maternal Child and Health.

At the Y Victoria, we are committed to empowering all Children and Young People to feel safe and be safe. As such, we ensure that all of our candidates are appropriately screened (including police check, working with children check and reference checks).
