About the Opportunity
The Y Victoria is currently recruiting a full-time OSHC Director for our Armstrong Creek Primary School service. This role is all about creating safe, joyful, and engaging experiences where children feel a sense of belonging, confidence, and fun before and after school.
As OSHC Director, you will lead a program that puts children at the centre. You will support educators to design play-based experiences that reflect children’s interests, strengths, and ideas, and help them build friendships, resilience, and independence in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the day-to-day operation and future growth of a vibrant OSHC service
- Work alongside educators to deliver high-quality, engaging programs shaped by children’s voices
- Work closely with families and children with additional needs to ensure inclusive, supportive, and positive experiences
- Partner with the OSHC Regional Manager to strengthen practice, systems, and sustainability
- Build strong, positive relationships with the school, families, and the local community
- Lead and support a passionate team of educators who make every session fun, safe, and meaningful for children

What do you need?
- Minimum Diploma Qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care and/or Tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood
- Have (or be willing to obtain) HLTAID012 First Aid Qualifications (including valid CPR)
- Have (or be willing to obtain) WWCC (Working With Children Check) Employee edition (VIT unable to be accepted)
- Anaphylaxis and Asthma Qualifications
- Equivalent experience
