About the Assignment
Manage and coordinate the completions system for the Darwin Life Extension project during execution and commissioning.
Tasks include:
- Ensure EHS requirements, culture and standards are met by Santos personnel and contractors.
- Support Commissioning Leader through commissioning preparation, execution, completion and hand-over to Operations.
- Take full management/delivery responsibility for the completions management software including setting up of the software package and maintaining it through the execution phase with the support of the software package vendor.
- Support Commissioning Leader in preparation for pre-commissioning, and commissioning, ITRs, system allocation and reporting via the completions management software.
- Support Commissioning Leader in driving and tracking project progress via the completions system and reporting of current priorities to meet system completion.
- Coordinate system walkdowns and manage the generated punchlist via the completions management system. Organise walkdown attendees and timing of walkdowns to ensure a thorough and effective process.
- Coordinate the sign-off of completions certificates and completion of system dossiers.
- Promote process safety via the effective management of the completions process and effective tracking of scope completion.
- Manage dispute resolution for completion items with the support of the Commissioning Lead and in consultation with Darwin Life Extension project leads, DLNG Operations and Santos engineering.
- Interface with Darwin Life Extension project leads, DLNG Operations and Santos engineering.
- Support the Santos the Ready for Start Up (RFSU) process as required.
- Lead the development of the DLNG completions management system and documentation to ensure a safe and efficient restart of the DLNG facility.
- Contribute to the development and updates of system completions system.
- Maintain a strong working relationship and a high level of interface with DLE Stakeholders.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimise completions system and handover deliverables.
- Monitor the construction contractors’ progress and identify opportunities for quality and schedule improvements.
About You
Essential experience required for this position includes:
- Strong experience in system completion on major projects preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Proven experience in the use of completions management systems and tools in the delivery of major projects.
- Project site execution phase experience
- Strong experience in maintenance or construction Oil and Gas, Power or Process facilities.
Tickets / Quals / Certs / Skills
- Degree qualified engineer with some years of experience - desirable
- or Commissioning experience
