Calibre has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Engineer with SMP experience and background to join a high-performing team at our Perth CBD Office. As a Senior Project Engineer at Calibre, you will join a multidisciplinary project team working on a sustaining capital project for a large-scale iron ore mine. Working on this technologically advanced and complex mining asset, your initial key deliverables will see you:
- Developing and implementing project controls, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Writing reports and scopes of work, and developing project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
- Monitoring progress and identifying potential problems with respect for budgets, schedules, and engineering standards.
- Providing estimating scheduling, and reporting.
- Provide stakeholder management and maintain positive client relationships through conducting work in a professional and productive manner.
Thrive with us! We hope you’ll bring
- Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in project engineering and experience working on SMP projects.
- Experience within Mining, engineering design, and sustaining capital project environments.
- Ability to interpret and communicate technical information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to perform effectively in a team environment and foster good relationships.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
