Calibre has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Network Engineer with Operational Technology (OT) expertise and background to join a friendly team based out of our Perth CBD Office (with occasional site travel). As a Senior Network Engineer at Calibre, you will work as a part of a multidisciplinary project team and will play a crucial role in the delivery of high-quality projects for high-profile tier-1 mining clients through various stages of the projects.

Initially, you will be working on a study and design project aimed at replacing the existing backbone communications infrastructure and end-of-life systems to sustain our clients' rail operations and meet their future needs. Additionally, you will also get to contribute to a large-scale technically complex design project encompassing multiple systems such as data, voice, and signalling. In this, your responsibilities will include: 

• Contribute to the development of a network architecture that meets the client's requirements and addresses reliability, and risk concerns.
• Deliver high-level and detailed network designs and develop testing and migration plans.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and develop strategies to mitigate potential network issues and improve performance.

Thrive with us! We hope you’ll bring

• 8+ years of experience in Network Engineering and Cisco CCNP level qualifications.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also possessing strong self-motivation and the capability to deliver tasks independently.
• Demonstrated ability to undertake OT design activities and develop and execute test (FAT/SAT) and migration plans.
• Moxa and Hirschmann product experience are highly beneficial.
• Previous experience on Site Mine and Rail construction, commissioning and troubleshooting is preferred.
