Calibre has an opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join a high-performing team at our Perth CBD Office. As a Project Engineer at Calibre, you will join a multidisciplinary project team working on a long-term major project for a tier 1 iron ore mining client. This study and design project has substantial work in hand and a healthy pipeline of future work to look forward to with initial responsibilities including key accountabilities such as:

  • Develop Scope of Work and Tender documentation for electrical equipment including 33kV powerline, and transformers.
  • Deliver inputs to estimating, and study reports, and help us to ensure project work complies with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Interface with the engineering and design team on an ongoing basis to ensure project goals are met.
  • Provide stakeholder management and maintain positive client relationships through conducting work in a professional and productive manner.

Thrive with us! We hope you’ll bring

  • Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in project engineering, and ideally previous experience working within an EPCM environment.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate technical information.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a team environment and foster good relationships.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
