The Role: 

This position will work across a number of projects and clients, ensuring smooth delivery of scheduling, cost control and project reporting. Your day to day will include;

  • Facilitate EV measurement and updates 
  • Facilitate the monthly Progress Claims process 
  • Ensure comprehensive reporting on Cost Control information  
  • Monitor progress and identify potential problems in respect of budgets, schedules, engineering standards  
  • Support the Planner incomplete Project Schedule updates. 
  • Supporting the PM in Project Controls and Reporting across your projects

We're looking for someone with stakeholder management experience, who is able to communicate with all key project personnel. Part of your role will be be leading the implementation of an operational plan (study, package, design), to ensure successful delivery of an engineering project. Having a solution-focused attitude, as well as an exceptional level to detail will be key attributes to ensure you're successful in this position. We hope you'll also bring;

  • 5+ years’ experience in project engineering, management and project controls role, with experience successfully leading a team 
  • High level of computer skill with advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and MS Office package abilities 
  • Understanding of Budget allocation, WBS, SOW, Cost terminology 
  • Comprehensive understanding of the budget allocation process 
  • Ability to summarise and communicate complex data quickly and in a simple format 
  • Bonus but not required - Bachelor of Engineering degree (4-year duration) accredited by Engineers Australia at level of Professional Engineer; or Bachelor of Project Management degree
