Cevo is an AWS Advanced Partner looking for a Platform Engineering Solution Lead to help build a Platform Engineering Capability within our Modernisation practice with our enterprise customers based in Melbourne.

Who are you?
You are a highly motivated Platform Engineering Solution Lead to collaborate with our sellers, engage in pre-sales, generate statements of work and keeping timelines and budgets in mind whilst having business conversations to grow and deliver outstanding value and service to our clients. Our Modernisation Practice strategically aligns technology and business goals for scalable governance that supports long-term, sustainable growth.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Seasoned communicator, experienced in negotiation and stakeholder management
- Experience in building high performance teams
- Drive change with IT Leaders and bring the team together
- Pre-sales experience with the ability to drive and grow pipeline
- A thought leader able to initiate and drive complex business conversations with foundations in deep technical proficiency
- A strong grasp of cloud compute and network fundamentals: VPC, Linux/Windows, IPv4, IPv6, DNS, TCP, Routing, Control Tower, Multi-account structures and setup
- Extensive experience with DevOps tools and technology: CI/CD, IaC, CDK, Terraform, ECS, EKS, S3, AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodePipeline, Ansible, Chef and container services ECS, EKS, Fargate
- AWS services; App Discovery service, Migration Hub, VMC, Elastic Disaster Recovery and Lambda
- Bash or Powershell scripting and Git, Python, Ruby or Go
- Basic data skills with SQL and NoSQL
- Frameworks such as React or Angular is a bonus
