Job Impact:
As a Gatehouse Security Officer, you will be responsible for managing gatehouse operations at our client site. This includes ensuring secure access control, surveillance, and prompt incident response across the facility. The Gatehouse Security Officer plays a vital role in maintaining uninterrupted service delivery and upholding operational security standards without delay or compromise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing vehicle movement and access control for both vehicles and personnel.
- Checking emails, administration and required reporting.
- Checking identification cards of incoming staff.
- Identify and report any security risks to the client contact and client services manager.
- Foot patrol duties.
- Completion of logbooks and reporting.
- Provide perimeter security by ensuring there is no unauthorized access to the site or vulnerabilities to the physical and electronic security integrity of the site perimeter.
- Surveillance and monitoring of all entry gates, site buildings and grounds via CCTV, and the visitor management system process.
About You:
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar environment, managing client relationships.
- The applicable Security License of the State or Territory in which you work and a current Senior First Aid certificate in accordance with the applicable Security legislation and associated regulations.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a full-time basis.
- Previous applicants need not apply.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment. Ability to prioritize tasks and self-supervise.
- Advanced Computer Skills - literacy in all MS Office products.
- Excellent communication skills - verbal & written.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills - verbal and written.
