Job Impact
We are seeking professional Security Officers to support high-profile government client sites across Brisbane. This is a frontline role where professionalism, composure and customer service excellence are essential in maintaining a safe and secure public-facing environment.
About the role
The security team at these sites plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, comfort and confidence of the community accessing government services.
As the first point of contact for visitors and staff, you will set the tone—delivering a welcoming, respectful and professional experience while maintaining strict adherence to site procedures and security protocols.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Roster: Monday to Friday – Day Shifts (No nights or weekends)
Locations: All Suburbs Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast
Key responsibilities:
Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
- Managing access points and maintaining a safe, secure environment
- Screening visitors and monitoring site entry and exit
- Delivering high-level customer service in a public-facing setting
- De-escalating challenging situations calmly and professionally
- Supporting emergency response procedures when required
- Ensuring compliance with all site procedures and policies
- Maintaining accurate incident reports and daily activity logs
- Communicating effectively with internal teams and stakeholders
- Upholding a strong safety-first mindset at all times
About You
- Previous experience in a customer-facing security role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident in managing difficult situations and conflict resolution
- Professional presentation and customer service focus
- Strong attention to detail and reporting capability
- Ability to work independently and follow procedures
Mandatory Requirements
- Current QLD Security Licence (Cert II – Crowd Control & Unarmed)
- Current First Aid Certificate & CPR
- Unlimited working rights in Australia
