Job Impact

We are seeking a NV1‑cleared Concierge Security Officer to perform a key frontline role within a professional corporate environment. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a secure, welcoming, and high‑standard workplace where safety and customer experience go hand in hand.

$5,000 Sign on Bonus available! (employees payable in two instalments; completion of 6-month probation and 12 months tenure). 

About the Role:

As a Concierge Security Officer, you will be the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and contractors. You will set the tone for the site by delivering a professional and friendly experience, while ensuring access control, safety, and compliance requirements are consistently met.

• Location: Sydney CBD
• Contract: Casual role working three days per fortnight, plus additional relief shifts as required. Standard shift every Friday, plus every second Thursday, consisting of 12- hour shifts.
• Pay Rate: Level 5 pay rate, plus 10% site allowance
• NV1 AGSVA clearance is mandatory

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and assist visitors, staff, and contractors with professionalism and a strong customer‑service focus
• Manage visitor sign‑ins, access cards, and contractor permits using electronic systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
• Handle front desk enquiries, phone calls, and coordination with facilities or building management
• Maintain a clean, organised, and professional reception and lobby area
• Support day‑to‑day site operations, including room bookings, access requests, and administrative tasks
• Monitor access control systems, CCTV, and alarms, escalating security concerns as required
• Conduct patrols, respond to incidents and emergencies, and escort visitors or contractors in restricted areas
• Ensure compliance with security procedures and complete incident reports, daily logs, and handover notes
• Participate in emergency drills, safety inspections, and audits, reporting hazards or security issues promptly

 Essential Requirements

• Current and valid NSW Security Licence
• Current NV1 AGSVA Security Clearance
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Demonstrated experience with the Gallagher Security System
• Proven experience operating access control systems, CCTV, and security reporting platforms
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to engage professionally with staff and visitors
• Professional personal presentation at all times
• Full working rights in Australia
