As part of our transformation journey, we’re seeking an experienced People Operations Manager to lead our national People Operations function and elevate the day‑to‑day employee experience at scale.
This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives at the intersection of systems, governance, data integrity, and high‑volume workforce delivery.
The role
Reporting to the Vice President – Culture & Capability, you will own the end‑to‑end delivery, governance and optimisation of People Operations across a large, regulated, and nationally distributed workforce.
You’ll lead the engine room of People & Culture — ensuring our people data, systems, and processes are accurate, compliant, scalable and genuinely support the business.
Key focus areas include:
- End‑to‑end People Operations delivery across the employee lifecycle
- Deep ownership of SAP SuccessFactors (Employee Central, Onboarding, Performance & Goals)
- Process discipline, data integrity, and statutory / compliance reporting
- Workforce support at scale, with clear service standards and escalation
- Translating policy, compliance and industrial frameworks into operational execution
- Enabling a system‑led, AI‑enabled P&C operating model
What you’ll be doing
- Leading and optimising national people operations and service delivery
- Owning HR systems governance, data accuracy and process discipline
- Driving continuous improvement across onboarding, employee changes, and lifecycle events
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, awards, EBAs and regulatory requirements
- Partnering closely with Payroll, Workforce Planning, IR, and frontline Operations
- Using data and insights to identify risk, trends and operational improvement opportunities
- Building a high‑performing team that delivers reliably in a high‑volume environment
About you
You’re a hands‑on, systems‑savvy people operations leader who is comfortable operating at pace and scale.
You’ll bring:
- Strong experience leading HR / People Operations in a complex or regulated environment
- Advanced capability in HRIS platforms (SAP SuccessFactors highly regarded)
- Proven experience managing high‑volume employee lifecycle transactions
- Deep understanding of employment compliance and workforce data governance
- A pragmatic, risk‑aware mindset with strong attention to detail
- The ability to lead teams through change, standardisation and uplift
- Confidence working with senior leaders while staying close to operational reality
