Job Impact
As a Day of Operations Team Lead, you will play a key leadership role within the National Operations Centre (NOC), overseeing daily deployments and patrol response activity across the network.
Your leadership will directly impact operational performance, team capability, and service delivery—ensuring incidents are managed effectively, risks are minimised, and frontline teams are fully supported.
About the Role
This is a fast-paced, hands-on leadership position where you will coordinate daily operations while supporting and mentoring a team in a high-pressure environment.
You’ll act as a central escalation point, manage competing priorities, and ensure all operational activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with compliance and client expectations.
Location: Macquarie Park
Contract: Permanent Full Time
Shifts: 24/7 rotating roster (including weekends and public holidays)
Key Responsibilities
Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
- Act as the first point of contact and escalation for operational matters
- Oversee daily deployment and patrol response functions
- Ensure team performance aligns with KPIs, contractual obligations, and legislative requirements
- Support, mentor and develop team members to drive capability and performance
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (including IT) to resolve system issues
- Manage incidents and ensure accurate, timely reporting and documentation
- Maintain a strong customer service focus across all interactions
- Support training, coaching and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and operational standards
About You
- Current NSW 1A Security Licence
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Certificate II in Security Operations
- Certificate in Leadership and Management
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an operations or rostering environment
- Previous experience leading or supervising a team
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent organisation and reporting capability
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
Desirable:
- Certificate IV in Security & Risk Management
- Experience within a manpower or security services provider
