Concrete Agitator Truck Driver

The role:

Central Pre-Mix Concrete currently has two opportunities for Heavy Rigid (HR) licenced Drivers to join our fleet of Concrete Agitator Truck Drivers on a permanent, full time basis. Based out of Campbellfield or Deer Park / Ravenhall, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of concrete to residential and commercial sites across Melbourne metro. Your day will involve multiple loads between plant and site (in Tri-axle units, 10x4 configuration), working to delivery schedules while maintaining high safety and presentation standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering concrete across metro routes
• Conducting pre-start checks and basic vehicle upkeep
• Washing down and maintaining a clean, presentable truck
• Using onboard tablets to log deliveries and report any issues
• Working collaboratively with batchers, schedulers, and site teams

Hours: Monday – Friday, 5-7am starts and an 7.6 hour shift. OT + Saturdays available. Optional RDO roster on an 8hr shift.

About you:

We’re open to training the right person - attitude matters more than experience. To be successful, you’ll have:

• Current HR Licence (essential)
• Previous agitator or construction materials driving experience highly regarded
• Comfortable operating tri-axle vehicles or willingness to learn
• Strong safety focus and reliable work ethic
• Stable work history and good tenure preferred
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to pass medical and driving history checks
• Strong reliability and punctuality
