About the role
VPS 5.2 - Salary range: $124,888 - $136,747 plus superannuation
- Lead the learning and development function to develop and implement an organisational learning plan, including a range of well targeted learning solutions which align with the organisational goals and develops workforce capability.
- Manage the training needs analysis and engagement with key stakeholders to identify learning gaps within the organisation and identify learning outcomes to be achieved.
- Coordinate the development and implementation of strategies and learning solutions to meet the continuous improvement needs of the organisation and the target audience while ensuring that the organisation embeds sustainable continuous learning processes
- Manage the preparation and completion of scheduled reviews of all programs against key outcomes and organisational requirements to ensure that all learning solutions meet requirements
- Prepare regular and consistent reporting on program compliance and learner feedback and effectiveness of learning solutions as well as managing budgets and forecasts.
- Regularly source feedback from stakeholders to inform improvements and ensure the organisation strives for innovative and best practice management and development of staff
The successful candidate will have experience or directly transferable skills
- Proven experience in the design, delivery and evaluation of learning and development programmes, initiatives and strategies as well as knowledge of contemporary learning and development theory, practice and adult learning strategies.
- Demonstrated OD/L&D and change management experience, applying current OD theory, frameworks and best practice methodologies
- Superior stakeholder management skills with the ability to develop strong relationships and credibly communicate, negotiate and influence strategic outcomes at all organisational levels.
- Strategic thinker and commercially astute, with track record in developing customer focussed and commercially sound solutions for people issues, that advance strategic interests of the organisation.
- Strong initiative, flexibility and problem-solving skills, with a solutions-focus and ability to analyse complex issues and achieve effective high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
- A focus on employee experience and passion for curating a learning culture which reflects this
