The Facilities Specialist works to organise, control and coordinate the strategic and operational management of Cenitex buildings and associated facilities, including managing contractors, soft services, security and building automation systems, equipment, emergency responses, and maintenance requests.

The successful candidate will be required to be in the office full-time, Monday to Friday.

About the role 

This is a full-time, ongoing opportunity with a salary range VPS 4.1 $100,894 - $114,476 + 12% super

We are seeking a motivated and skillful Facilities Specialist to lead site and reception services at Cenitex. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys a dynamic environment, is responsive to change, and can proactively take ownership of the function.

As the key subject matter expert in site facilities, you will drive results in security, safety, maintenance and visitor management for Cenitex at its operational locations.

What you will be working on: 

  • Oversee contracted relationships for preventative and reactive maintenance
  • Provide critical support to site physical security for secure IT facilities
  • Ensure ongoing fit for purpose spaces and facilities as workplace needs evolve
  • Lead readiness and execution of emergency responses

You are someone with: 

  • Experience in overseeing corporate environments with secure facilities
  • Advanced understanding of access control, security and OH&S processes and systems
  • Excellent communication skills and a knack for building lasting relationships
