About the role

This is a 12 month full-time, fixed term role with a salary range of VPS 4.1 $100,894 - $114,476 + 12% super.

The Associate Network Engineer role will require you to support networking infrastructure for Cenitex customers. You will resolve networking issues at customer sites and be involved in project and change requests to ensure that networking devices are configured to the highest standards.

What you'll be involved in: 

  • Identifying and resolving logical network infrastructure issues at customer sites 
  • Installing, commissioning and decommissioning network infrastructure equipment 
  • Carrying out scheduled maintenance on networking infrastructure 
  • Creating and implementing network changes for projects and normal operations 
  • Communicating with customers, network engineers, and third-party support vendors 

You'll need to have: 

  • Customer focus to deliver excellent customer service 
  • Excellent time management skills  
  • Experience working with networking technologies such as 
  • Routing and switching  
  • Wireless  
  • Firewalls 
  • Software Defined WAN (e.g. Meraki) 
  • Network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds 
  • Ability to clearly communicate at all levels of the business and with third-party support vendors 
  • Be a positive and contributing member of a professional facilities networking team 
  • Willing to be part of an after-hours (AH) on call roster 
  • Available to work AH including weekends to support customer network migrations
