Coordinates Cenitex program and project management activities, from business case and customer proposal through to project initiation and ongoing planning and control activities to ensure successful delivery of project and program outcomes for Cenitex and its customers. The position supports the PMO team members with day-to-day tasks to programs/projects can be effectively governed, and business outcomes achieved.

About the role

This PMO Analyst position reports directly to the Cenitex Program Management Office (PMO) manager.   

The role is a key contributor to the PMO project governance responsibilities in Cenitex, whereby PMO is the custodian of the delivery frameworks and tools and has data collation and reporting responsibilities for projects, program and operations.  

The PMO Analyst is responsible to develop and deliver qualitative and quantitative reports. The role requires capabilities to gather, collate and report on a wide variety of program, project and operational data from multiple data sources. This includes skills to build data models and automate reporting to produce a variety of ad hoc and/or standardised, repeatable reports. In addition, the successful candidate needs to be able to interpret the data and provide written descriptions on the trends and anomalies to support the reported information under the guidance of the PMO manager.  

The organisation has a continuous service improvement approach, and the successful candidate will need to be comfortable operating in a dynamic and changing environment. Consequently, you will have a curious and enquiring mindset, be able to learn new skills and strive to continuously find ways to improve our approaches, processes, procedures and tools. 

The role requires the successful person to be highly competent in a suite of Microsoft products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI and Dynamics 365. In addition, skills in Power App & Power automate are highly desirable. 

 Job Requirements 

  • Highly competent in a suite of Microsoft products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI and Dynamics 365 – essential 
  • Skills in Power App & Power automate - highly desirable. 
  • Microsoft DA-100 Power BI certification – highly desirable, but demonstrated Power BI experience is essential 

Day-to-day as the successful applicant you will have the opportunity to: 

  • Manage the data analysis and reporting responsibilities of the PMO. 
  • Assist and lead in managing the operation of various PMO boards and forums responsible for the governance and monitoring of critical project parameters across Cenitex’s project portfolio including but not limited to project pre-qualification and sizing, delivery risk and health, project health, variations and closure. 
  • Lead in the planning and perform regular independent PMO governance activities on portfolio, program or project parameters and address or escalate when defined governance thresholds are triggered.
