About the role

The Business and Services Continuity Lead owns, manages and will mature business continuity planning for the organisation and oversee continuity planning for the services offered to customers. It is envisioned to enable practices to drive down major incidents, minimise the impact of incidents and remove systemic issues out of the environment.

The role is responsible for ensuring transparency and adherence to best practice process that result in the continuous improvement of the organisation’s continuity and disaster recovery processes, with a key focus on compliance and validation. 

Successful applicant will have the opportunity to: 

  • Develop effective relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, internal product teams, customers and service partners
  • Work with the business to ensure service continuity and business continuity plans are created, tested and maintained for the varied stakeholder groups

To be successful in the role you will:

  •   Be a Self-starter with a ‘Can Do’ attitude and able to drive change
  • Have proven history of managing business and services continuity and disaster recover processes and practices in a large organisation with high stakeholder demands
  • Exceptional research, analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to consider issues from different perspectives and draw commercially sound recommendations
  • Be a strong communicator with the ability to influence outcomes
  • Have the ability to work with a variety of technologies with a focus on infrastructure
