About the role 

Cenitex is seeking an experienced Sourcing & Contracts Manager to lead enterprise‑wide sourcing strategies, high‑value negotiations, and sophisticated contract management across a diverse supplier landscape. Working at the heart of Victoria’s digital capability, this role drives commercial excellence, strengthens governance, and ensures value-for‑money outcomes that support whole‑of‑government ICT service delivery. 

As a senior commercial leader, you will shape Cenitex’s sourcing roadmap, uplift organisational capability, oversee major procurement projects, and champion best‑practice contract management. You’ll partner closely with executives, technical specialists, suppliers, and cross‑functional teams, ensuring all procurement activity aligns with VGPB requirements, legislative standards, and Cenitex’s strategic direction.

What you will be working on: 

  • Enterprise‑wide sourcing and contract management programs, including major procurement projects and high‑value negotiations. 
  • Supplier performance, contract governance, compliance, and risk management across Cenitex’s ICT portfolio. 
  • Implementation of procurement reform initiatives, digital procurement tools, analytics, and improved sourcing models. 
  • Continuous improvement of procurement systems, processes, reporting, and organisational capability uplift. 
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to uplift commercial capability and foster a high‑performance culture.

You are someone with: 

  • A proven leader with experience overseeing complex sourcing and contract functions in government or large corporate environments. 
  • A strong communicator who influences executives, suppliers, and technical teams to drive high‑quality commercial outcomes. 
  • A commercial expert with deep knowledge of strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, supplier management, and value‑for‑money delivery. 
  • A strategic thinker skilled in aligning sourcing activities with organisational priorities, supported by strong systems and process capability.
