About the role
We’re looking for a Finance Operations Analyst who thrives on driving efficiency, optimisation, and innovation within the finance function. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the seamless delivery of core financial processes — including accounts payable, billing, and fixed assets — while identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Beyond managing the numbers, you’ll play a key role in enhancing financial governance, strengthening risk controls, and elevating the overall stakeholder experience. We encourage creative thinking and give you the freedom to explore automation tools, analytics, and process optimisation to deliver measurable impact.
This opportunity is VPS Grade 5.2 Role ($124,888 - $136,747) base salary plus superannuation. This is a 12-month long-term leave replacement role, ideal for someone who enjoys blending operational excellence with continuous improvement.
To be successful in the role you’ll need:
- A proactive mindset with the confidence to challenge the status quo
- Strong understanding of finance systems and process flows
- Experience with best practice finance operations and controls
- Ability to work collaboratively and deliver outcomes in a team environment
- A passion for improving stakeholder experiences and driving efficiencies
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or Power BI is highly regarded
- Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Power Automate or RPA solutions) will be an advantage
