About the Division
The Transition and Integration Division is responsible for delivering the ICT Shared Services Reform program—bringing together departmental ICT services into a unified, standardised operating model within Cenitex. The division ensures seamless service continuity throughout transition while delivering long-term benefits including improved efficiency, capability uplift, and stronger whole-of-government outcomes.
- Salary: SES-2 ($298,489 – $430,740) TRP
- 2 year executive contract
As Executive Director, Transition and Integration, you will lead the large-scale transfer and integration of ICT services, functions and people from government departments into Cenitex—shaping the future of shared services across the public sector.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this role operates in a high-profile, complex, whole-of-government environment, balancing transformation delivery with stable, high-performing ICT services.
Key responsibilities and deliverables:
- Lead the end-to-end transition of ICT services, assets and workforce to Cenitex.
- Ensure continuity of critical ICT services during transition, with minimal disruption.
- Drive integration and standardisation of services, platforms and support models.
- Lead workforce transfer, organisational alignment and cultural integration.
- Influence senior stakeholders across departments, agencies and central government.
- Deliver measurable reform benefits through strong benefits realisation.
- Oversee vendor, contractual, funding and charging arrangements.
- Manage governance, assurance and high-risk reform issues.
- Contribute to Cenitex’s strategic leadership and long-term sustainability.
You are an accomplished senior executive with the credibility and capability to lead major transformation. You bring:
- proven success delivering large-scale reform in complex, high-profile environments
- the ability to balance transformation with stable service delivery
- strong strategic judgement and executive-level stakeholder influence
- experience leading workforce transition, service integration and organisational change
- strong governance, risk and commercial leadership
