The Role:

Due to internal promotion CDC is looking for 10 experienced Bus Drivers to join our team at Dural

As a Bus Driver, you will assist customers in reaching their destinations and meet their commitments by providing a safe and comfortable journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering a prompt and reliable transport service
  • Carrying out pre departure checks and reporting mechanical defects
  • Driving effectively and efficiently while ensuring passengers safety and comfort.
  • Identifying, addressing, and reporting unsafe or unhealthy conditions, practices or behaviour in the workplace
  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of road laws and company policies
  • Accurately completing recording procedures such as daily journals, time records, customer loading data and fuel and charter records

Skills, Attributes and Experience which are essential to succeed in this role:

  • Previous experience of driving passenger or charter busses would be highly desirable
  • Have or willing to obtain a Heavy Vehicle Licence (MR and above)
  • Have or willing to obtain a NSW Bus Drivers Authority
  • Have or willing to obtain a Working with Children Check
  • Provide your current RMS driving history
  • Knowledge and understanding of Work, Health and Safety Practices
  • Always act Safely
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • A positive, proactive approach and be well presented at all times.
  • Full Australian Working Rights
  • Flexibility for split shifts
