A driving role includes conducting thorough pre departure checks, driving efficiently while prioritising passenger safety and comfort. Record keeping responsibilities, such as maintaining daily journals and fuel usage logs are also crucial aspects of the role to ensure operational transparency and efficiency.
What we offer:
Join the team at our Thornton Depot in a part time role, working min 20 hours per week during the school term.
Successful applicants may have the opportunity to access additional hours throughout the school term, school holiday periods also weekends. This role offers excellent career development opportunities with a clear pathway to ongoing employment and progression to a full time position at the Thornton Depot.

- Permanent Part Time rate $35.01 per hour

About you:
If you are a team player, care about your community and priorities safety then CDC NSW is the place for you. As a Driver you will need a positive attitude, good communication skills and value customer service.
You will need to hold the appropriate licences and checks or be willing to obtain. We can support you to obtain these
- Heavy Vehicles Licence MR or above - Licence upgrade offered to successful applicants t&c's
- NSW Bus Authority - CDC with help you to obtain
- Working with Children for paid work
- A good current Driving history
- Australian working rights
