The Role

As a Shuttle Bus Driver, you will be providing shuttle services for one of our largest customers. This role provides shuttle services between Redfern Stabling Train yards and Central Station. It is an essential shuttle operation moving train crew between the stabling yard and central station.

The shuttle service uses Coaster type vehicles (24 seater) and operates between 1AM - 5:30AM Monday to Sunday.

This is a unique opportuntiy to operate a shuttle service providing a high level of service to our customer Sydney Trains.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering a prompt and reliable shuttle services
  • Working with our customers to deliver exceptional service
  • Drive effectively and efficiently while ensuring passengers safety and comfort
  • Provide on time shuttle services as per the advised timetable
  • Accurately completing recording procedures such as daily journals, time records, customer loading data and fuel and charter records using an iPad

Skills, Attributes and Experience which are essential to succeed in this role:

  • Have or willing to obtain a Heavy Vehicle Licence (MR and above)
  • Have or willing to obtain a NSW Bus Drivers Authority
  • Have or willing to obtain a Working with Children Check

For the right candidate; assistance will be provided in obtaining the above.

  • Provide your current RMS driving history
  • Knowledge and understanding of Work, Health and Safety Practices
  • Always act safely
  • Have excellent customer service skills
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Capable of working independently and/or collaboratively within a team setting
  • A positive, proactive approach and be well presented at all times
  • Provide an Australian passport/current Australian working status
  • Flexibility for split shifts
