CDC Charter NSW is recruiting Charter Drivers for our new depot at Lane Cove West. This is a great opportunity for drivers who live locally, work in the area, or are looking for a role closer to home to join a respected transport business with stable work, reliable hours and a strong team culture.

We welcome applications from experienced bus and coach drivers, as well as people who may be considering a career change and are interested in becoming part of the passenger transport industry. Full training and support will be provided for suitable candidates who bring a positive attitude, safe driving approach and commitment to great customer service.

For a limited time, eligible new Charter Drivers will receive a $3,000 sign-on bonus. Terms and conditions apply.

About the role:

As a Charter Driver, you will service a number of prestigious private schools, including operating dedicated coaches for school communities. The work may also include charter trips to Canberra and camp venues on the North Coast, offering variety for drivers who enjoy both regular local work and longer group travel assignments.

Whether you’re interested in local work or taking groups away on camps and extended trips, we have you covered.

• Part-time rates of $35 per hour, with additional hours and applicable allowances available
• Minimum 30 flexible hours per week
• Earn extra income with weekend overtime shifts
• Based at our new Lane Cove West depot
• Serving private schools, corporate clients and charter customers
• Dedicated coach work servicing prestigious private schools, with opportunities for trips to Canberra and North Coast camp venues.

Who We're Looking For:

• Experienced bus, coach or heavy vehicle drivers looking for their next opportunity
• Local drivers or people already working around Lane Cove, North Shore or surrounding areas
• People considering a career change who are reliable, safety-focused and customer-service minded
• Applicants who enjoy working with people and take pride in presenting a professional image

You will need to be willing and able to obtain the required checks for the role, including:

• A valid Working with Children Check
• A satisfactory recent driving record
• Full Australian working rights
