Car Washer

Capital SMART is Australia and New Zealand's leading accident repair network, with 60+ sites delivering high-quality repairs every day. We're looking for a reliable Car Washer/Detailer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

You'll keep vehicles clean and presentable at every stage of the repair process — from washing cars as they come in, through to the final buff and polish before they're handed back to the customer.

What you'll be doing:

• Washing and cleaning vehicles on arrival and at key stages throughout the repair process
• Buffing, de-nibbing, and polishing paintwork to achieve the required finish
• Quality checking vehicles before handover to ensure they meet the Capital SMART standard
• Identifying any paint or finish imperfections and addressing them before customer collection
• Moving vehicles safely around the workshop and yard
• Keeping equipment and work areas clean and maintained
• Completing accurate records of work completed

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience in a car wash, detailing, panel shop, or automotive environment
• Knowledge of buffing, polishing, and de-nibbing techniques (helpful but not essential)
• A sharp eye for detail and pride in delivering a quality finish
• Valid Australian driver's licence
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player
• Full working rights in Australia
