Are you ready to take your operations expertise to the next level? We're seeking a dynamic Facilities expansion & Project Manager who thrives on optimisation, innovation, and driving meaningful change across our organisation!
Reporting to the National Advanced Operations Manager, this role will see you responsible for overseeing and optimising aspects of facilities management, project management, and continuous improvement initiatives within our business. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in supporting and guiding the Operations teams in our drive to deliver cost-effective, efficient, and high-quality outcomes across the business. You will be key to driving innovation through continuous process improvement across the operation and systems to deliver on the strategic growth objectives of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management:
- Lead and coordinate complex operational projects from initiation to completion
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies
- Monitor project progress and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project challenges
Facilities Management:
- Oversee day-to-day facilities operations to ensure optimal functionality
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and preventive care programs
- Manage vendor relationships and service contracts
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Optimise space utilisation and workplace efficiency
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for operational enhancement and efficiency gains
- Implement lean methodologies and best practices across operations
- Lead process mapping and workflow optimisation initiatives
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices, Lean methodologies, and Six Sigma principles across all operational areas
- Develop and track key performance indicators to measure improvement outcomes
System Evaluation and Enhancement:
- Assess current operational systems and identify areas for improvement
- Recommend and implement technology solutions to streamline processes
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure system integration and functionality
- Conduct regular system audits and performance evaluations
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies
Communication and Reporting:
- Prepare comprehensive reports on operational performance and project status
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings and collaborative sessions
- Maintain clear communication channels with all stakeholders
- Provide coaching and guidance to operations team members
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field (desirable)
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in operations management or similar role
- Proven track record in project management and process improvement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in project management software and operational systems
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
