Based in Chatswood, this is a role from 6.30 am to 4.00 pm, Monday to Friday - Your overtime is guaranteed!

About the role:

As a Panel Beater, you’ll prepare, strip, repair, and help assemble vehicles in line with Capital S.M.A.R.T processes and quality standards. You will ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Completing scheduled repair jobs following the SMART processes and repair principles
  • Checking all required parts are ordered and notifying the Estimator if parts are missing or incorrect
  • Assisting with vehicle assembly when needed
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times (Clean Workspace Policy) [PD Panel Beater | PDF]

  • Respecting customer vehicles and company equipment
  • Contributing to a positive, respectful culture within the workshop

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Trade qualification as a Panel Beater
  • NSW Trade License
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in repairs
  • A customer‑first mindset, with a commitment to quality work every time
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise repair tasks efficiently
  • A calm, reliable approach under pressure and during busy periods
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Interest in cars and pride in your craft
