Detailer

Capital SMART is Australia and New Zealand's leading accident repair network, with 60+ sites delivering high-quality repairs every day. We're looking for an experienced Detailer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

You're the last person to touch the vehicle before it goes back to the customer — responsible for final finish quality, cleanliness, and making sure every repair meets the Capital SMART standard.

What you'll be doing:

• Quality checking vehicles on receipt to confirm all prior work is complete
• Washing and cleaning vehicle exteriors to a high standard
• Buffing, de-nibbing, and polishing paintwork to achieve the required finish
• Identifying any paint or finish imperfections and addressing them before handover
• Keeping your workspace clean and organised
• Completing accurate records of work completed

What we're looking for:

• Previous detailing experience in a panel shop or collision repair environment
• Solid hands-on knowledge of buffing, polishing, and de-nibbing techniques
• A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to quality
• Ability to work efficiently within a production repair process
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player
• Full working rights in Australia
