The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the production operations within the repair centre. This role ensures efficient workflow, quality workmanship, and timely delivery of repaired vehicles while maintaining high safety and customer service standards.

About the role:

  • Lead, plan, coordinate, and oversee daily repair operations to maximise efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor workflow, ensuring repairs are completed on time and within budget.
  •  Support the creation of an environment where team performance and collective and individual skills are valued.
  • Supervise and support production staff, including technicians, painters, and estimators.
  •  Liaise with customers, insurers, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Address customer concerns and resolve disputes promptly and professionally.
  •  Ensure all repairs meet company and industry compliance and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with safety and operational procedures

Here’s what you need to apply:

  • Previous experience in similar management role within the collision repair industry is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to set and adhere to deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to delegate tasks.
  • Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office applications - in particular Excel.
  • The ability to motivate, manage and get the best out of your team.
  • Strong commitment to work in a safe manner
  • Qualification in Panel Beating or Spray painting highly regarded.
