This is a pivotal role that will see you overseeing a team of 8 across Repairs and Assembly.

This rewarding and permanent role is ideal for a qualified Panel Beater wanting to step up, share their knowledge and secure a role with the industry leaders.

Working closely with the Repair Centre Manager and, with safety and quality at the forefront of everything you do, this role will include, but not be limited to overseeing the following area's;

  • Checking received parts.
  • Disassembly and reassembly of vehicle as per Job Sheet.
  • Repairing vehicle to pre - accident condition as per the Repair Method, OEM standards and in accordance with Estimate and Job Sheet.
  • Manging production deadlines.

So, who can be a Panel Team Leader at SMART?

  • You’ll be qualified in Collision repairs or have relevant automotive repair experience.
  • Attention to detail is paramount. 
  • We work collaboratively, so the ability to have open communication with your peers in relation to repairs and timeframes is crucial.
  • With our roles being full-time and permanent, you must have full Australian work rights.
  • From time to time, we’ll ask you to assist in other areas relating to your skills, such as Assembly of vehicles on completion of repairs and mentoring our Apprentices.
  • Most importantly, you must be prepared to make safety your number one priority for yourself, your work mates and your customers.
