We are seeking skilled Paint Preppers to complete our SMART Melbourne team. Locations available

• SMART South Morang
• SMART Laverton
• SMART Airport West
• SMART Bayswater

These are full-time, permanent positions. Monday to Friday with guaranteed overtime! (38 + 7).

Do you have experience in Fiber glassing, sign writing, surface preparation, or industrial, commercial, and residential painting? All of these roles, among others, can help you secure the position you’ve been pursuing in the automotive industry.

What You'll do:

• Prepare, prime, buff and denib vehicle as per job sheet.
• Handle all vehicles with due care and attention.
• Maintain your work bay and assist with cleanliness throughout the workshop.
• Adhere to our OH&S policy including PPE.

What We're Looking for:

• Previous experience in a Prepper or Painting role, within automotive or similar industry?
• Strong commitment to work in a safe manner.
• High attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual & a team player
• Have full Australian work rights.
• Have a current drivers license (not essential).
