About Lady Northcote
The YMCA Lady Northcote is a Recreation Camp located in Rowsley, just outside of Bacchus Marsh, 67 km west of Melbourne. The surrounding environment is rural. Lady Northcote accommodates a range of groups from 10 up to 250 people and operates all year. The Camp is owned by the State Government of Victoria and managed by YMCA Victoria, under a 21 year lease that concludes in the year 2041. The camp’s outdoor program takes place on the camp site, and the surrounding Brisbane Ranges using a variety of outdoor and adventure based activities.

About the Role
As a central part of the camp team, the Administration Specialist ensures every client group visiting the Camp feels supported and welcomed, building strong relationships through high-quality customer service. You will be responsible for:
- Managing camp bookings, enquiries, invoicing and client communications
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with schools, community groups and partners to deliver positive camp experiences
- Coordinating and supporting camp programs, community events, marketing, fundraising and volunteer administration
- Assisting with reporting, accounts and payroll tasks, and support operational projects as required
- Supporting safety training, inspections, incident reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
- Applying inclusive and accessible practices to ensure all participants can safely engage in camp experiences
- Keeping staff informed and updated on relevant health & safety issues
- Assisting with Grant applications process
This is a permanent full-time opportunity with base rate of $33.58 per hour + super + Y Benefits.
About You
We’re looking for a highly organised, sale and customer focused professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. You’ll bring high-level administration experience, confidence in stakeholder engagement, prior experience in customer service, sales or marketing, and a genuine commitment to health, safety and inclusion. As the first point of contact, you will assist with daily operations of the camp and be dedicated to achieving great outcomes.
