About the Role

As a Cleaner at Howmans Gap Alpine Discovery Camp, you will play a vital role in maintaining our facilities to the highest standard, ensuring every corner of our camp is welcoming and ready for adventure. Your work helps create a pristine environment where young people can make unforgettable memories.

Key responsibilities include:

• Spotless spaces: keeping our accommodation and activity spaces clean using specialised equipment and eco-friendly products.
• Inventory management: managing and organising cleaning supplies to ensure we are always prepared.
• Maintenance awareness: reporting maintenance needs promptly to keep everything running smoothly.
• Team support: pitching in with light gardening and general duties when needed to support the wider team.

About You

About Howmans Gap Alpine Discovery Camp

Howmans Gap Alpine Discovery Camp is an alpine centre and adventure camp located by Falls Creek, and managed by YMCA Camps. Catering to schools and groups year-round, the team at Howmans Gap run a variety of programs and activities to suit every group, from skiing and tobogganing in winter, to orienteering and mountain biking in summer. Featuring state-of-the-art accessible accommodation, cosy cottages, and full catering options, Howmans Gap Alpine Discovery Centre is the perfect place to explore the great outdoors, come snow or sunshine.
