Kitchen Assistant - Camp Manyung

Camp Manyung is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly catering team. Whether you already have kitchen experience or are looking to build your skills, this is a great opportunity to work in a supportive environment where your contribution genuinely matters.

You’ll help prepare nutritious, tasty meals for our campers and make mealtimes a welcoming and enjoyable part of their camp experience.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and serving meals for campers and groups
• Assisting with food preparation and ingredients
• Helping cater for allergies and special dietary requirements
• Maintaining a clean, organised and food-safe kitchen
• Working alongside a supportive catering team
• Helping create a positive experience for everyone who visits Camp Manyung

About you

You don't need to be a chef to be great in this role.

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Reliable, proactive and willing to get stuck in
• Comfortable working independently when required
• A positive team player
• Committed to food safety and creating a welcoming environment
• Keen to learn and develop their kitchen skills

Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is highly regarded but not essential. Attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are just as important to us.

Shifts

We offer a variety of casual shifts, with some availability required across:

• Monday to Sunday: 7:00am to 11:00am or 2:00pm
• Monday to Saturday: 4:15pm to 7:15pm

No late-night finishes. You could be home by 7:30pm.
