As a Water/Drainage Engineer at Calibre, you will provide technical expertise across a range of water/sewer infrastructure and Urban Development projects whilst playing an integral role in driving project outcomes.
You will be involved in all aspects of the project lifecycle from conceptual design and feasibility studies to detailed design, contract documentation and contract administration. You will use your comprehensive knowledge of the Water industry to work with our clients to bring their projects to life.

You will be part of a team delivering major urban development projects and transport infrastructure design projects (in Melbourne/Victoria quite widely) and undertaking high profile hydrological, hydraulic and/or water quality investigations using leading-edge technology.
We are involved in all aspects of the design and development process from land rezoning, conceptual design and feasibility studies, to detailed design, contract documentation and contract administration. As our projects move into the construction phase there are opportunities to get in the field and see your designs being built!

Thrive with us! We hope you'll bring
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Environmental Engineering coupled with a demonstrated 3+ years' experience in a similar role providing in stormwater, hydrological and hydraulic modelling, as well as urban drainage design
- Demonstrated experience using hydrologic & hydraulic modelling software and GIS software (XP-Rafts, RORB, MUSIC, HEC-RAS, QGIS and/or TUFLOW)
- Advanced working knowledge of investigation and design of stormwater infrastructure, including experience working with ARR2019.
- Strong analytical & technical report writing skills.
- Strong communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and negotiation skills.
